Monthly PsySocial

Topic: The Crisis of UK Drug Policy

The topic for this month's PsySocial is 'The Crisis of UK Drug Policy', where we welcome Vice journalist and writer JS Rafaeli who has written extensively on how Britain has failed in its drug policy and policing strategies. He is co-author with Neil Woods, a 14-year undercover police officer infiltrating drug gangs, on 'Good Cop Bad War' and ‘Drug Wars.’

We will be meeting at Love Shack, a vegan restaurant and cocktail bar spread over three beautiful exposed brick arches in the heart of Hackney, East London. They have a brand new menu (January 2023) that offers a variety of delicious food and yummy drinks (including mushroom cacao!) available to purchase throughout the evening.

If you would like to enjoy some of Love Shack's incredible food, please order and eat before or after we kick off at 20:00. You will have time after the event to socialise freely and continue conversations with the people you've met during the evening.

Schedule
19:00: Arrive, socialise & order food
20:00: Talk with Q&A
21:00: Socialise & network
