Support the Concert for Peace in the Middle East – Your Donation Makes It Possible
London, December 3rd – Join us in supporting a unique night of Middle Eastern music, unity, and connection. This event brings together Palestinian, Israeli, and Middle Eastern artists and activists for an evening of live performances and shared dialogue, standing against violence and division while promoting a vision of coexistence and peace.
Our mission: This concert is about coming together, all of us - to bridge the gaping divides between us and stop the hate that comes with “taking sides” - it's for us to come together on the same side of peace and non-violence. instead of being “pro one side” and "anti the other side” - we are here paving the side that embraces peace, empathy, and understanding, where all voices are valued, and division is replaced with shared humanity. We are here to collaborate musicially, and go together through a music-based, spiritual journey, towards a more peaceful future, fostering mutual understanding and togetherness. We are here to call against war, violence, oppression and hostilities - and instead to bring peace, connection and co-existence - starting with each one of us, right here and now, in this room; and letting those waves or peace and empathy ripple throughout the world to the region in conflict most needing it right now.
What We Need
To make this event possible, we need your support to raise a few thousand pounds to cover essential costs like venue hire, musical equipment, and travel for artists coming from abroad. Every donation, no matter the size, helps us bring this night of peace to life.
Where Your Donation Will Go:
- Venue and Equipment Rental: Create an inspiring, professional space for this gathering of artists and peace-seekers.
- Artist Travel and Accommodation: Help bring talented musicians and activists from across the Middle East and Europe to London.
- Professional Support for Artists: Fairly compensate the professional artists who are dedicating their time and talent to this cause.
With Additional Support, We Could:
- Expand the Lineup: Include even more musicians eager to participate in this event.
- Collaborate with Renowned Artists: With additional funding, we may be able to feature renowned figures like Mira Awad and other notable voices for peace.
- Upgrade the Experience: A larger venue, enhanced sound equipment, or even an acoustic piano would create an unforgettable experience.
- Charity Donation to Women of the Sun: Any remaining funds will support Women of the Sun, a Palestinian women-led organization based in Bethlehem that advocates for peace, non-violence, and community aid in partnership with groups like Women Wage Peace. Nominated for the Nobel Peace Prize, Women of the Sun works tirelessly to promote peaceful solutions in the region.
