September is a month of herbal magic. The days are slowly getting shorter, and nature is busy ripening her wild plants into their full powerhouse potential in a last burst before winter, offering a bounty of fruits, nuts, flowers and mature herbs soaking in the autumn sun. And once you know what to look for, there is wild medicine everywhere!

Come soak in the season on this herbalism-focused foraging day trip, where we will explore the medicinal and edible abundance of the Erpetal. With its waterways, open meadows and shady forests, this little-known and wonderfully beautiful nature reserve offers an idyllic landscape for a summer hike, with excellent clean areas to forage.

Join Simka (they/them), a local foraging guide and nature coach, who will show you how to safely identify and work with a range of common and easy-to-identify potent healing plants. In a friendly, informal setting, you'll learn how to make tinctures to soothe bee stings, boost your immune system, ease headaches, relieve cramps, promote lucid dreaming, and much more – all with weeds that grow all over Berlin!

As we hike along the stream, we'll take lots of breaks to sample delicious and unique wild delicacies as well as gather our own harvests for our bespoke wildcrafted tinctures. During our picnic lunch on the edge of the forest, you'll get the opportunity to taste some foraged treats made with plants we encounter along the way.

After lunch we'll put our newfound herbal knowledge into motion as we concoct our own healing tinctures. With warm, expert guidance, we'll each prepare 3-5 herbal potions to take home, concocted according to your particular needs.

Along with your healing creations and lots of new herbal knowledge, you'll come away with a deep understanding of how to keep yourself – and the land and its other inhabitants – safe while foraging these extraordinary plants that grow all around us.

A note on pricing & philosophy:

This tour is worth well over 55€. I'm offering my foraging tours this season on a sliding scale / pay-what-you-can basis, because it's a deep value of mine that this learning – which radically connects us with ourselves, the land, and one another – should be accessible for everyone.

However, I do rely on this income!

That means: if you have the means, pay the full fee, or more.

If you don't have the means, please feel fully invited to pay whatever you can.

And if you want to come, but genuinely cannot afford any extra expense, reach out to me directly for a 100% discount. Warmly welcomed and no questions asked. I have absolutely been there, I see you, and I want you here.

I'm trying to do things differently, because it matters to me. Please join me in the complexity of building a better, more equal world!
