R(E)VOLUTIONARY MEDICINE

Have you found your voice becoming lost in the language of Spirituality and psychology?

Have you found the language being used in new age/conciousness spaces more of a prism/prison than a Medicine?

Are you a faciltator in spiritual spaces and found yourself gripped by expectation to sound a certain way in your facilitation, to sound, pray  spiritual?

------------

Then R(E)volutionary Medicine - For facilitators could be of aupport to you.

THE IDEA

The idea of R(E)volutionary Medicine, is to use poetry, awareness, somatics and Embodiment to work with spiritual and psychological language, in the hope of supporting language to live in us in a way that is more connected to the soil of our humanity, soul and spirit, and in which language is vivified and electrified.

THE INSPIRIATION

The idea has come from my experience of cross over between the world of poetry and the world of Spirituality, and the world of poetry, and with an aching gnawing in me, that something is being lost in our capacity to use language and forlanguage to live inside of us, because of what I see is an often reliance on scriptsand ideologies as the common focus in such spaces.

It is also to name, inspired by the Emerald Podcast ‘The Revolution Will Not Be Psychologised.

THE MISSION

To get people to question how we use language in spiritual spaces, to ask if the language we are using is taking us closer to one another, to embodiment, to spirit, to soul, to our humanity, or if we are creating new scripts and forms of dogma, ideologies and ways of language that are keeping us from connection, with ourbodies, with one another, and with our world.

If I can support people to reclaim their voices, live each day with a language living inside them that is connected and tapped in, to the beat of the universe, to thhe ancientness of their bones and to their innate lyric self, I will be happy.

THE CHALLENGE

I'm challenging people to ask how they are using psychological and spiritual terminology and vernacular in their lives and their relationships, and in the world, and to ask, where is this come from, and how it affects us, our ability to relate in a way that supports us humans.

My challenge is to bring this to spiritual spaces, places and communities.

THE WHO FOR

R(E)Volutionary Medicine is for anyone who has lived in, been involved in religious, spiritual, Awakening, consiousness, Medicine spaces. This space is specifically for facilitators to come and meet this.

It's for those people who facilitate those spaces too, to dive deep into how we use language as a prism or a Medicine?
