The emerging technologies of web3 enable new ways to collaborate, create, and share value and authority — not dissimilar to what the internet promised in the early 1990s.

Today, we collectively have an opportunity to harness these technologies to design and create systems and institutions that are inherently better for people and the planet.

What do we mean by “systems transformation”? What’s its role in creating better futures? What challenges might hold us back? What are some web3 examples demonstrating the potential of systems transformation?

A 4 WEEK CO-LEARNING JOURNEY

SuperBenefit and Crypto, Culture and Society invite you to join us on a co-learning journey, comprising four one-and-a-half interactive sessions over Zoom.

While we will bring broad outlines and themes for conversation, together with presenters with deep practical experience and challenging perspectives, we invite those joining us to come in a spirit of co-creation and co-exploration.

This is an emerging field with no experts, only practitioners, and our deepest desire from offering this free course is to find others to journey alongside us as we seek to explore how web3 can help to shape better futures.

WHAT IS SYSTEMS TRANSFORMATION?

Systems transformation involves creating previously unimagined possibilities and new ways of tackling our most wicked challenges.

This includes mindset and paradigm shifts that address the intersectionality, power structures and inequities of these deep systems.

It goes beyond addressing a single mission or issue area but transforms multiple aspects of a given system for better futures.
