HOME - ED CLUB IS STARTING SOON IN DEVON !


WE ARE STARTING A NEW HOME ED CLUB IN HUXHAMS CROSS , JUST OUTSIDE OF TOTNES , WE  WANT TO START IT ON A TUESDAY  PREFERABLY, RUNNING THROUGHOUT THE WHOLE YEAR .
FIRST DATE : 16 TH jAN
TIMES 1030 AM TO 4 PM 
AGE GROUP 5/6 YEARS OLD UP TO 13 YEARS OLD
THIS IF FOR HOME ED KIDS IN THE AREA .

This is not a 'SAS survival school' but a paleolithic 'hunter gatherer' based school, making everything from scratch , with what the natural world around us has to offer .
IN THE YEARS  TO COME WE WILL ADVANCE EVERY SKILL FURTHER AND FURTHER KEEPING THE CHILDREN ON THEIR TOES AND LEARNING EXPONENTIALLY , E.G FIRE SKILLS - THERE'S FLINT AND STEEL , STARTING FIRE IN RAIN , CARETAKING FIRE,  PRIMITIVE COOKING ON FIRE , BOW DRILL FIRE , HAND DRILL FIRE ....AND MANY MORE ADVANCED SKILLS.
​WHATEVER YOUR CHILDS PASSIONS ARE WE WILL COVER IT ! 
Also its a school that is deeply woven with indigenous wisdom, myth , storytelling and spirit work. 
We aim to give you and the children a teaching system that will get them and you to think for yourselves. We will be there as guides to show you the way , but in the end it's up to them to work out the mysteries of the natural world.
Some of the skills that can be learnt : Bows , archery , sword making , basketry , flint knapping,  fencing techniques, fire by friction, shelter building , pottery , baskets , all the wild food seasons, herbalism , tree identification, trapping, tracking, stalking, stealth movement and camouflage, jedi games , primitive cooking plus loads more .
