Psychedelic Integration Circle - with Brighton Psychedelics
Are you looking for a safe space in which to integrate a psychedelic experience?
Have you been struggling to make sense of a psychedelic experience or had a difficult trip?
The Psychedelic Society is proud to be partnering with Brighton Psychedelics and their expert team of facilitators on this in-person integration circle. This is a warm, welcoming circle for you to share with others, to be heard and receive support if requested.
Who we are
Brighton Psychedelics is a community group facilitated by a small interdisciplinary team of Psychiatrists, Psychologists and Psychotherapeutic Counsellors. Our team have experience in the field of psychedelic support and expertise in contemporary research into psychedelic assisted therapy.
The aim of our group is to promote integration of psychedelic experiences into everyday life in a way that is helpful and meaningful to the individual.
Our facilitators currently give their time on a voluntary basis. The ticket price only covers the venue and associated organisational costs, so if you are able to afford a Supporter ticket, please do so, as this will help ensure these much-needed spaces continue and support the future of the UK integration circle network. If you can afford a Standard price ticket, please select this option to free up more low income spaces to those people who really need them.
The group runs approximately every 6 weeks and we always aim to have 2-3 facilitators present depending on the number of attendees (max. 18 participants per circle). The facilitators will rotate and thus vary from session to session - you can see a full list of our team below.
What to expect
Our circle is a non-judgemental, confidential space for those who have used psychedelics or are considering using them. If you have had a challenging psychedelic experience and want to make sense of it, or wish to share a meaningful experience, then this is for you.
We ask members to arrive 10 minutes before the start so we can check-in and start on time (very late arrival may result in not being able to participate). We encourage you to bring an object along that has personal meaning for you. It could represent your hopes/fears about the group or relate to your psychedelic experience. We place the objects in the middle of the circle when checking in.
The circle does not permit use of psychedelics or other psychoactive drugs. In accordance with the law, we neither encourage substance use, provide illicit substances, nor referrals to illegal psychedelic services.
If you have any questions about psychedelic integration or this group specfically, please contact Mags Houston: mags@psychedelicsociety.org.uk
Visit the Brighton Psychedelics website for full details about the organisation and its network.
We also run a regular Book Club which is free to attend, visit our Facebook page for dates and further details.
