PsySoc Social: Speed-Friending in Margate

You asked, we listened! The Psychedelic Society is expanding into other cities, and we’re starting with a summer social in Margate! 

This speed-friending is a night of sweet conversation, friend-making and (maybe?) finding your future lover! 

The event is open to anyone and everyone. You can drop the small talk and ask the questions you REALLY want to ask. We use the word ‘speed’ in the loosest possible sense. Real connection can't be rushed, and neither will we!

Flying solo? The majority of people arrive at our PsySocial events alone! It's a great opportunity to meet other like-minded people and members of our community. 

ABOUT THE NIGHT 

Taking inspiration from the 36 Questions to Intimacy and The School of Life's '100 Questions,' this evening gives you a menu of profound, intriguing, and spicy questions designed to inspire authenticity and meaningful connection with those around you.

You’ll be guided through playful icebreakers and a series of 10-minute one-on-one conversations with different people throughout the evening, wrapping up with free-flowing socializing.

You’ll leave here with a fresh perspective on connection, some fun stories, and maybe even the beginning of something special.

THE VENUE

Bar Nothing is a funky Lounge Cafe and Bar on a Cliff in Margate  (17 Cliff Terrace, Cliftonville, Margate CT9 1RU).

The venue will serving  a variety of delicious snacks and hot an cold drinks available for purchase on the night.

• 18:00: Arrive, socialise & grab a drink
• 18:45: Psychedelic Speed-Friending - pt 1
• 19:45:  Little Break, grab a snack & a drink
• 20:15: Psychedelic Speed-Friending - pt 2
• 21.30pm: Ends

Carlotta Artuso

Carlotta is an Event Coordinator at The Psychedelic Society, with a deep passion for nature, personal and collective growth, mystical experiences and food (Italian roots play a big role here!).

Psychedelics have profoundly transformed her life, opening her mind to new perspectives and deeper self-awareness, allowing her to break free from the 9-5 grind and to launch her own PR and Events company -  Carlotta PR.

ACCESS:  We do our best to include everyone in our events, regardless of health circumstances. If you have access requirements please email the event organiser directly to discuss. Many facilitators are able to offer reduced ticket prices for those truly unable to afford the ticket price.
