PsySoc Social: Mushroom Biscuit Baking
Medicinal Mushroom Infused Biscuit Baking & Psychedelic Story-Telling
Join us at 21 Sid Coffee in London Fields for an immersive vegan biscuit-making workshop that blends the art of baking with the power of functional mushrooms. Guided by Owner and Chef Laura, you will learn how to incorporate Lion’s Mane, Reishi, Cordyceps, and Ashwagandha into delicious, nourishing biscuits - perfect for every occasion.
*Please specify if you're gluten free and we can provide separate dough for that too!

WHAT TO EXPECT:
Hands-On Baking: You'll mix, shape, and bake your own batch of mushroom-infused vegan biscuits, experimenting with flavours and techniques. Once baked, you'll have the chance to decorate your biscuits with natural glazes and toppings that enhance both taste and health benefits.
Mushroom Wisdom: Discover the benefits of functional fungi and how they can support cognitive function, stress relief, and overall well-being. Learn the best ways to integrate them into your diet beyond biscuits.
Community Connection: Share stories and experiences with like-minded individuals passionate about creativity, self-exploration, and psychedelics. Our socials are the perfect opportunity to connect with a growing community of curious minds.
Psychedelic Storytelling: this is becoming a must for our monthly socials. There will be the opportunity for all of us to share our psychedelic stories - the weird, the tricky and the downright wonderful. This part of the evening will be open-mic style and we will have a sign-up sheet to add your name to the list of storytellers. Your stories should be no more than 5 minutes and there's no need to rehearse what to say or come particularly prepared - often the best stories are told off-the-cuff and from the heart!
Delicious Food and Drink: Indulge in the Italian offerings prepared by Laura, with mouth-watering gnocchi, lasagna and parmigiana, both vegan and no-vegan options, alongside a selection of soft drinks, cacao and wine and beers.
Whether you're a seasoned baker or a curious beginner, this workshop will inspire you to rethink biscuits in a whole new way. Leave with a box of your own creations and the knowledge to experiment at home.
