May is an incredible time to go foraging. Everywhere you look, nature is bursting with life. Leaves are still tender and flowers are exploding into bloom. And once you know where to look, there is wild food everywhere.

Join Simka (they/them), a local foraging guide and nature coach, who will show you how to safely identify and work with a range of delicious and healing plants. In a friendly, informal setting, you'll learn how to make everything from herby wild pesto, to exquisitely floral fermented soda, to immune-boosting tinctures, to funky noodles with the world's most expensive vegetable (which grows as a weed all over Berlin!). If we're lucky we'll even find some spring mushrooms!

You'll come away with a deep understanding of how to keep yourself – and the land and its other inhabitants – safe while foraging these extraordinary plants that grow all around us.

The full moon will add an extra layer of magic to our tour, as we learn about folk wisdom and how the cycles of the moon influence the plants.

During the day, we'll take lots of breaks to sample delicious wild delicacies and, for those who want to, to gather our own harvests for tinctures and teas on-the-spot. You'll have the opportunity to sample some foraged treats that Simka brings to share, as we take a picnic lunch at a beautiful lake along the way.

A note on pricing from Simka:

This tour is worth well over 35€. I'm offering my foraging tours this season on a sliding scale / pay-what-you-can basis, because it's a deep value of mine that this learning – which radically connects us with ourselves, the land, and one another – should be accessible for everyone.

However, I do rely on this income!

That means: if you have the means, pay the full fee, or more.

If you don't have the means, please feel fully invited to pay whatever you can. If you need a 100% discount code, reach out to me directly. No questions asked!

A helpful metric: If you often go out to eat, regularly buy new clothes, can put away money to save for holidays or experiences or luxuries, or pay full-price for other workshops, pay the full 35€.

If you have lower income or are unemployed but have the resources to do some of the things above, pay 25€.

If you have lower income or are unemployed and have to make regular compromises around where your money goes, pay 15€.

And if you want to come, but genuinely cannot afford any extra expense, reach out directly for a 100% discount. I have absolutely been there, I see you, and I want you here.

I'm trying to do things differently, because it matters to me. Please join me in the complexity of building a better, more equal world!
