Bernardo Kastrup - 4 Week Course: Breaking the Delusion of Materialism

Bernardo Kastrup's work has been leading the modern renaissance of metaphysical idealism, the notion that reality is essentially mental. 

This course will dive straight into the heart of this incredible world view, and give you a chance to be guided by leading proponent in the west of how this can be understood, integrated and engaged with.

You will be taken through a comprehensive understanding of the scientific, philosophical and psychological evidence for how all reality is consciousness. There will be time for discussion and questions, and Bernardo will cater the content to how we engage with the material. 

The course takes place on zoom four Monday evenings in a row, between 7pm and 9pm, starting Monday 22nd of June. 

Bernardo has a Ph.D. in philosophy (ontology, philosophy of mind) and another Ph.D. in computer engineering (reconfigurable computing, artificial intelligence). As a scientist, Bernardo has worked for the European Organization for Nuclear Research (CERN) and the Philips Research Laboratories (where the 'Casimir Effect' of Quantum Field Theory was discovered). Formulated in detail in many academic papers and books, his ideas have been featured on Scientific American, the Institute of Art and Ideas, the Blog of the American Philosophical Association and Big Think, among others. Bernardo's most recent book is The Idea of the World: A multi-disciplinary argument for the mental nature of reality.
