Befriend and tend to the Breath, as both a guide and resource… If you will, take a moment to reflect… What might this mean for you?

Join us for an immersive journey into  Breathwork, nourishing Community, exploring states of tranquillity, vitality and the in-between amongst the beautiful Devon countryside.

This retreat is for anyone interested in Breathwork, whether you’re a long-standing practitioner or simply curious about what these practices can offer.

Throughout the weekend, we’ll connect deeply with our Bodies through movement practices and embodied awareness, Exploring some the roots of contemporary Breathwork, through “Pranayama,” control of life-force through our breath, as outlined in the original yogic texts. You’ll also learn about and practice “Kriyas,” a set of “cleansing” practices within traditional Yoga designed to deepen our awareness of the Body and Mind

Why? When we explore these practices intertwined with the Breath, we can create the foundation for effective meditation, increased clarity, and focus, improved performance and recovery, forging resilience to stress, and cultivating states of rest. Amongst many benefits, the practices can increase awareness of our state of being and our ability to regulate our nervous system. Not to mention, they can feel incredibly good, and you can have fun doing them.

Our main journeys will be through Conscious Connected Breathing, a simple yet potentially profound practice. Originally stemming from Yogic practices, This practice has been used therapeutically for decades, helping facilitate powerful emotional releases and direct experience of altered states. The practice can invite anything from an increased sense of calm and balance, enlivening and ecstatic through to psychedelic potential. You have agency through your experience with your choice of rhythm and intensity of Breath. Whatever you may experience, you’ll be fully supported in your journey, and we’ll reflect on and begin integrating these experiences together.

Music will also be an integral part of our journey both during the Conscious Connected Breathing and a space to dance later in the evening… There'll be space to jam, sing explore poetry round the fire too!

This is an opportunity to connect with a deeper part of self and a community of like-minded others. There will also be plentiful time to hang out in the venue’s wood-fired sauna and connect with the land and the stunning landscape of South Devon. Delicious home-cooked vegetarian and vegan meals will be provided.

Our group space for exploration, beautiful kitfchen and rooms for sleeing is within the lovely barns of Eden Rise. There are dorm rooms, shared rooms and one double room.

We intend to have some serious fun while being open and curious about our process. We approach our “work” in a playful, light-hearted way while fully facilitating and supporting the depths of one's personal journey of exploration. The space will be held as invitational and is trauma-sensitive.

We invite you to attend this retreat with a curious and open attitude. We will explore our connection to breath, which is intertwined with body, mind, heart, relationships with land, and others. We will be with, playfully, what you may experience.
