“Once you start approaching your body with curiosity rather than with fear, everything shifts.”

- Bessel Van Der Kolk, The Body Keeps The Score

Trauma is loosely defined as an emotional response to a stressful, frightening, or distressing event. With such a broad and subjective definition, it can be argued that each one of us has to some degree or another faced trauma in our lives.

If you’re currently working through a specific trauma and are looking for new tools to help you on your healing journey, or are simply curious about looking deeper within, we invite you to join us for a dive into our inner shadows and explore ways to find emotional release.

This four-hour workshop will be a guided journey, contained in a safe, therapeutic space, where we will find a deeper connection to our inner landscapes, connections, and community with others we meet.

The workshop will include:

  • An informal talk and open discussion about the science of trauma and mechanisms underpinning various trauma-release techniques
  • Step-by-step guidance and exploration of the Emotional Freedom Technique for trauma release
  • Relaxing breathing techniques and guided meditation
  • A gentle embodiment flow
  • An extended integration session to allow for people to process and an opportunity to share their experiences
  • A shared dinner

Feedback from Dominique's previous workshops:

★★★★★ Rachael Kelly on Healing the Family Shadow

"Dom was such a great facilitator for this workshop, her energy is so great and she held the space very well. She was super understanding of everyone's needs and felt into the situations to see if anyone needed extra support or attention at any time, there was no pressure for anyone to do anything they weren't comfortable with but we all showed up with honesty and vulnerability, I felt very supported. The EFT was my favorite part of the day, it was super powerful and the statements used where specific but also resonated massively among the group. I would definitely attend another one of her workshops and even considering having some EFT sessions separately too."

★★★★★ Luke Brinsford  on Psychedelics and the Shadow

"Really well held by the facilitator, who managed to weave together discussion and reflection, alongside embodied and relational exploration between participants. There was enough containment to be able to touch in to what it is a really wild area."
