Psychedelic Christian Zen - A Talk and Guided Meditation

Come discover a new framework for the use of psychedelics for spiritual enlightenment.  Drawing on Christian metaphysics and Buddhist psychology Sebastian shows how to harness the power of psychoactive plants and the mind to produce lasting positive changes in a safe and reliable way. Sebastian will also explore the deep relationship between the One and the Many and the eternal cycle of death and rebirth between them. 

 If you are interested in the connection between psychedelic experiences and religious experiences, and the under-explored potential of Christian teachings in particular to illuminate both, tune in. This promises to be a fascinating talk, discussion and meditation experience on a hugely under-explored topic. 

About your speaker

Sebastian is an academic, practising mystic and Psychedelic Christian.  He is a meditation teacher and Psychosynthesis counsellor and draws on a variety of religious traditions, including Advaita Vedanta, Zen Buddhism and Christian Mysticism. He has been studying and exploring the benefits of psychedelics, meditation and religion for over thirty years. 

He studied English Literature at Cambridge University, Philosophy at the School of Economic Science, Psychosynthesis at the Psychosynthesis and Education Trust, Soto Zen at Throssel Hole Buddhist Abbey and Shamanism with the Shamanic and Ecological Society of Colombia. He is a practicing Anglo-Catholic and is currently exploring ways to revive the Christian tradition through experiential spiritual practices including the use of sacred plants.
