Wreath & Sauna

WREATH WORKSHOP & SAUNA

Make a seasonal wreath using foraged plants with locally grown and dried flowers.

We  will gather in Juliet's cosy craft cabin on the moors to explore the plant folklore behind the wreath, crafting Marta's flowers with intention to bring good fortune to our homes this winter!

We will end the workshop with a short walk over the fields to a nearby private sauna where we can unwind and reflect in the candle light. 

What will happen?

Meet at the cabin (rural location - leave yourself enough time to find it)

 Craft the evergreen base of the wreath  

Learn about plant folklore with a delicious cup of chai 

Ceremonial crafting with your chosen flowers and plants

Walk to sauna across the fields (bring waterproofs, towel and optional swimsuit)

Hour long sauna session

Who are we?

Jules and Marta are friends from Schumacher where they met making willow baskets together - they soon realised their shared passion for crafting, plant magic, folklore and finding ways to form joyful and creative resistance in the unfolding multiple crises. 

Marta is a regenerative food and farming researcher,  photographer, mushroom farmer and flower farmer at Half Moon where she lovingly grows, harvests and dries an array of gorgeous flowers.

Juliet founded The Craft That Reconnects, which draws on our relationship with material, to reveal inner strengths and a wider purpose in the world through craft. She teaches groups to build resilience, resourcefulness and community.
