A South West Grain Network visit to Frankham Farm run by Duncan and Charlotte Ross.
Frankahm Farm is a mixed organic farm producing cereals, pulses, sheep and cattle as well as chickens and geese.
Duncan is growing Mariagertoba as part of the True South West Flour Project.
Duncan and Charlotte will welcome us onto the farm and tour us around to show us the crops growing and talk through his farming practices.
There will be lots of opportunity to ask questions and learn from Duncan and Charlotte's experience.
This is a wonderful time to visit the farm, just before harvest, when everything should be in its most abundant state.
We will share a lunch together and have time for conversation afterwards.
We are especially hoping to welcome farmers local to Yeovil on this visit who are new to the network.
Booking for this event will close at 5pm on Sunday 27th July so please try to book early.
Should cost be a barrier to your attendance please contact Robyn on 07877580825 or swgrainnetwork@gmail.com so we can look at ways to support you.
