Journeyland Presents: Field Trip to Whole Village – A Day of Community & Connection

Ready for an adventure? Journeyland invites you on an enriching field trip to Whole Village! If you’ve ever been curious about intentional communities and sustainable living, here’s your chance to dive in and get your hands dirty.

We will meet at Reimagine Co in downtown London and carpool together! The cost is flexible - pay what you can - to ensure that this experience is accessible to all, while ensuring that drivers have their gas expenses covered.

This day, September 30, marks the National Day for Truth and Reconciliation, which will be incorporated into our trip together.

What’s Happening?

Join us for a “work bee” day at Whole Village, a cooperative farming ecovillage designed to model and support resilient, just, and regenerative systems. This isn’t just a tour; it's an immersive experience. You’ll participate in various seasonal activities around the farm, from planting gardens to mulching orchards and much more.

Bring: Your lunch, water bottle, sun hat, and work gloves. Fresh farm items will also be available for purchase.

Who’s Hosting?

This event is organized by Journeyland, a community that holds space for personal, interpersonal, and societal transformation in collaboration with the land. Like Whole Village, we believe in a future where humans live in harmony with ourselves, our more-than-human relatives, and the planet.

Schedule

• 8:00 AM: Meet at Reimagine (206 Piccadilly St) to catch the bus together
• 10:00 AM: Arrival and Welcome
• 10:30 AM: Introduction and Overview of Whole Village
• 11:00 AM: Split into Work Bee Teams
• 1:00 PM: Lunch Break (Bring your own)
• 2:00 PM: Resume Activities
• 4:00 PM: Closing Circle and Reflections
• 6:00 PM: Arrive back in London

Please RSVP so that we know how many people are coming and how many cars we will need. We are hoping for 10 to 20 participants and 4 people have already offered to drive. If you would also be willing to drive, please indicate that when you RSVP.
