Harry Pack

Harry Pack is a British multi-media artist who renders surreal depictions of alternate dimensions that seek to engage and activate the unconscious mind of the viewer.

His practice, which spans painting, drawing and digital mediums, reflects themes of human perception and psyche, influenced by psychedelic culture. His work encourages the viewer to turn their mind from the fragility of the material world and towards a contemplation of something more stable and infinite. The kaleidoscopic paintings depict a visual realm at once fantastical, foreign and strangely familiar.

Three-dimensional, dream-like landscapes composed of fractal shapes and ordered geometric patterns are populated by extra-terrestrial forms: strange humanoids, anthropomorphic machines, animals and plant-life moving purposefully throughout spaces that operate as portals into the personal and psychological. His work is a vessel for self-exploration and understanding as he examines his past through older eyes.

The Fool Expression evening workshop was such a treat for the soul! Christie is a wonderful facilitator and a true medicine woman holding space for her attendees and challenging them to take a step outside of societal convention… She sees discomfort as an opportunity to dive deeper into one’s psyche and to explore modalities to better deal with situations and feelings that no one can avoid as a human being, thus providing invaluable tools to manage them. In the beginning nobody really knew what to expect and then everyone started feeling comfortable realising it was a safe space to be whoever we wanted to be and to express whatever aspect that needed to emerge…It was a truly enriching and sacred experience witnessing the beautiful uniqueness of everyone present allowing themselves to be vulnerable and authentic, because it felt safe to do so. In the end a beautiful connection was created and I (like everyone present, without a doubt) left with some deep realisations about oneself. I feel humbled and grateful to have experienced this cathartic event which encouraged us to explore deeper parts of ourselves that we weren’t aware of, and help integrate parts that we aren’t comfortable with…For all these reasons, I wholeheartedly recommend Christie’s workshop, besides the venue was absolutely beautiful and welcoming, and the background music divine… Thank you Christie Animas! Julia 🙏🌺🌼🌻
