Several online discussions coming up that I'm excited about:

Next Wednesday, Dr James Cooke draws on personal mystical experience and his research at Oxford to discuss the science that indicates we are literally the Universe waking up - Wednesday 26th Feb at Love Shack, in conversation with Shamil Chandaria. Then the following week I'm excited to have Matthew Immergut, co-auther of the The Mind Illuminated sharing everything he's learnt since the book's launch, about meditation, awakening, gurus and navigating the path in the modern world…

When meditation goes really deep, there is a phenomena of consciousness shutting down completely. Some consider this a vital experience towards awakening, others believe it has profound implications about whether consciousness is fundamental or not. Ruben did his PhD on the subject and is a very experienced meditator, so I'll be excited to speak with him about…
