Hi there,
A few months ago, we reached out to ask if any of you would like to host Psychedelic Society events in your local area - and you answered the call!
Our Community Leads Programme has officially launched – and now you can find social events in Brighton, Bristol, Birmingham, Exeter, Margate, Hastings... the network keeps growing.
This community initiative is very close to my heart. I originally came to The Psychedelic Society feeling completely unmoored after an intense psychedelic experience. I just wanted to meet people who understood. People who spoke the same language. What I found was so much more. The community has been the most important part of my journey so far.
In the West, we've got it backwards. Someone goes to a retreat, has a profound experience, then returns home to integrate alone. But in cultures where plant medicines are woven into daily life, the community is the container. The ceremony continues in shared meals, in stories, in being witnessed by people who get it.
Following the path of consciousness exploration can be lonely in our modern world. We need each other. Not just to share insights, but to remember we're not alone in seeking something deeper.
