CLASH Poetry Unslam

clash poetry unslam

hosted by tom hirons (sometimes a wild god, feral angels press, clarion poetry magazine)

21st october · 7-10pm
fish & chips from 6-8pm · free parking

poetry doesn’t belong to libraries and universities. it’s folk-medicine word-magic truth-telling and it belongs in bars and forests and at the barricades and the picket-lines. come together to breathe some life back into language and celebrate those who do so.

first hour open mic + second hour support + third hour from tom
if you'd like to be on the bill (as open-mic or in one of the two support slots) send some work (written or recorded) to tom@tomhirons.com

proceeds will be shared among the poets for this one. if this night's a success, we'll start doing it monthly…
