Radical Intimacy

Radical Intimacy is about transforming patriarchal and heteronormative norms - and reclaiming sensuality and intimacy as something fluid, alive, and inclusive.

Radical Intimacy grew out of my exploration of neo-Tantra, but over time I found myself questioning some of its frameworks, particularly the tendency to understand intimacy through fixed ideas of masculine and feminine polarity. That binary never felt right.

So this workshop takes what I found valuable in those practices: embodiment, breath, sensation, desire, presence, deep connection and explores them through a more fluid, expansive lens.Radical Intimacy is a space for us to meet ourselves and each other through the body, breath, sensation, desire, boundaries and presence. It’s an invitation to slow down, listen more deeply, and explore what becomes possible when we feel safe enough to be curious, expressive and fully ourselves.

Through embodied practices, communication, sensual exploration and connection, we’ll explore intimacy beyond the scripts we’ve inherited. We’ll question some of the assumptions we’re given about how intimacy, desire and relationships are supposed to look, and make space for ways of connecting that are more curious, conscious, playful and alive.

There’s space here for the full complexity of who we are:  our softness and strength, vulnerability and power, grief and joy, certainty and curiosity, awkwardness and playfulness-  without needing to fit ourselves into a particular role or way of relating.Radical intimacy means reclaiming connection, sensuality and desire as sources of agency, empowerment, aliveness and liberation.

What to expect

• A queer event for all women, NB, intersex, trans and gender non-conforming humans

• An inclusive, sx+ environment grounded in consent, where sensual exploration and expression is welcome

The workshop consists of Guided practices. If there is time, a part of the workshop will be dedicated to Free flow integration and play — bring your curiosity, creativity, and consent skills

During the guided part of the workshop we will explore:

• ✨ Consent and Boundaries
• 🌊 Guided practices that include touch

Who is it for:

• This is a queer-centered space for people of marginalized genders, including women, trans, and nonbinary folks.

🛑 Cis men are asked not to attend.

What to Bring:

• Wear something that helps you feel good it, that can mean something that makes you feel confident, powerful, soft, comfy - or all of the above
• Food for dinner / to share with the group if you wish
