Forest Bathing in Epping Forest
You are warmly invited to join us for a gentle guided forest bathing experience in the beautiful, ancient Epping Forest. We'll step away from the noise and busyness of everyday life, slow down and reconnect with the natural world around us.
Shinrin-Yoku or Forest Bathing is a relaxing experience suitable for anyone with no experience or fitness levels needed - we'll move at a gentle pace and spend time simply noticing nature with a sense of curiosity and wonder.
Despite the name, bathing suits are not required! Through a series of simple, sensory invitations we'll be soaking in the sights, sounds, textures and rhythms of the natural world - a wonderfully supportive experience for our sense of calm and wellbeing.
As part of a small group, we'll experience the beauty and wonders of Epping Forest - London’s largest openspace, offering ancient woodland, grassland and lakes—right on London’s doorstep.
Forest bathing is a gentle, restorative experience that invites us into a deeper relationship with nature, each other and ourselves. You may find your mind quieten, your nervous system calm and your body soften - through the restorative power of Mother Nature.
As well as being an enjoyable (and many say enchanting) experience - Forest Bathing offers a multitude of proven health benefits including; lowered stress, boosted immunity, better sleep, improved mental clarity, enhanced creativity and lots more!
Meet your guide - Sarah Clark
