For the Love of Friendship - A BYOF Friendship Ceremony & Celebration

Do you have a friendship in your life you'd like to celebrate? Come tie the friendship knot.. 

Bring a friend - or a few - and join us on Saturday 3rd October where we’ll give these special relationships the celebration they deserve. 

This is a little bit like a wedding, but for friends - a chance to openly declare, shower in appreciation and offer some casual commitment to a friendship of your choice. 

Through warm hearted rituals, vow-writing, and other sacred shenanigans, we’ll create a shared friendship ceremony to have and to hold from this day forward.. 

We’ll be finishing things off with a delicious feast – freshly cooked and prepared by the wonderful India. Making sure we leave with hearts warmed and bellies happy.  

Come join us for a silly, soppy, and sacred Saturday, celebrating friendship!

What's included? 
 
Our friendship ceremony has had a glow up.. This is the first time we will be running this at this beautiful venue, in this style, fit with friendship feast! 

 
The setting 

Based in the beautiful Barley Wood Walled Gardens, 30 mins outside of Bristol – the sweetest of settings to celebrate those friendships.  

Although we will have an indoor space, and part of the walled garden just for us! The rest of the walled garden and orchard will be open to the public, and so we will be sharing the wider space with those visiting the cafe or cider barn that day.  
 

The friendship ceremony 

Guided by Hope, your celebrant for the day. This will be a bit like a wedding ceremony, but for friends! 

Perhaps a joyful (and possibly rare?) occasion to be truly celebrated in your friendship - as well as witness the unique friendship tales of others?

You'll have a chance to reflect, appreciate, and bask in the story of your friendship so far, honouring all that has been, and share your wishes of what's to come… 

The tone will be gently playful, and suitably heartfelt.. with opportunity for the unique flavours of each friendship to be stirred in.

The celebratory feast 

Included in the ticket is a tasty 2 course vegetarian feast, whipped up by the wonderful India, and made with Barley Wood Grown seasonal produce!

(grown with organic practices, no dig, no chemicals.. aka. all the good stuff)  
 
Please let us know any specific dietary requirements and allergies when you book. 
 
Please note: soft drinks will be available, but any alcoholic drinks aren’t included in the price of this ticket.

Anyone who would like to celebrate their friendship - new friends, old friends, in-and-out of orbit friends..

Tickets:

Each ticket is for one human being - so please make sure your friend, or friends have a ticket to come along too.

We're offering a tiered-pricing for tickets - to help go some way in improving financial accessibility of these kinds of events, whilst trying to honour the energy, time, and efforts and of the organisers. 

At this pricing, each ticket should still feel like a special investment. However, if money is a significant barrier please get in touch, and we can discuss alternative options.

Tier 1 (Low Income): £65
Tier 2 (Middle): £75
Tier 3 (Full rate/Supporter): £85

Accessibility: 

There are some accessibility limitations to the venue – we’d be more than happy to  chat through any specific access queries related to the venue or event. 

We'd really like all babes in all bodies to feel welcome - so please get in touch with any queries so we can make this truly so!

Below is some specific information regarding the venue: 

• The indoor space itself can be accessed by wheelchair, and the walled garden is wheelchair accessible.
• There is a wheelchair accessible toilet on site by the car park, below the walled garden, but not in the the indoor space where we will be based (at the top of the walled garden). We appreciate this may be a significant barrier. Please get in touch if you'd like to find out more details about this.
