Listening and sharing, giving and receiving, holding and being held
Rebirthing Breathwork has the power to transport you to expansive, non-ordinary states of awareness — most similar to psilocybin experiences. The breath serves as a catalyst to release emotional charge, ease somatic tension, and reconnect you to your inner wisdom.
With the Wavekind Method, rooted in trauma physiology and nervous system science, you will be guided inward in a pendulated way, with options for you to independently adjust the intensity, so that whatever happens feels transformative and meaningful without being overwhelming. This event is limited to 12 pairs (24 people total, max 12 people breathing at any one time) to ensure every that person can receive ample support from the facilitator.
Partner Breathwork?
Come with a partner, friend, or family member — or on your own and with an openness to connect with someone new.
This retreat is inspired by the sitter-experiencer model from psychedelic facilitation and Holotropic Breathwork™, the latter of which was developed as a non-drug alternative to high-dose LSD psychotherapy.
This retreat gives you the chance to breathe and to sit for another: to be the receiver and the giver. Breathing in the presence of another is a practice of trusting, receiving, and allowing. Sitting and supporting another's breathwork journey is an experience often described as humbling and deeply human; a practice of compassionate space-holding that wants what is helpful for the other.
As an experience, to journey with another in this expansive yet intimate way promotes deeper connection, trust, and honesty. It is a brave yet vulnerable thing to see another clearly — and to allow ourselves to be seen as well.
Half Day Retreat Schedule
Each breathwork journey involves a partner connection exercise, rebirthing breathwork, savasana, and mandala drawing for integration. There are also optional oracle card pulls available to support insight.

Further support
To get the most out of this experience, you are invited to join two online gatherings:
- Pre-session preparation: Wednesday 14th October, 8-9pm (online via Zoom)
We'll share the theoretical framework for the event, the history of this method, and provide time for solo reflection and intention setting ahead of the retreat.
- Post-session integration: Wednesday 21 October, 8-9pm (online via Zoom)

How to Prepare:
- Fill out the intake form in your email (if you cannot find it, contact me — yasmin [at] wavekind [dot] com)
- Bring an object that represents connection. If you are coming with another person, you can bring something that represents your relationship. If you are coming alone, you can bring something that is special to you. We will use this for the altar at the start, and you will take your object home at the end.
- Bring a water bottle, journal and pen. If you don't have the latter, we can provide A4 paper and pens.
- Wear comfortable, loose clothing.
- Reserve some time afterwards — you might need some space to ground before continuing on with your day.
