🥕Carrots in Jars 1200 Wien #1 - pickling workshop 🥕
📅 date: Monday, 03.11.25
⏰ time: 17:00 - 20.00
📍 place: VHS Brigittenau / Raffaelgasse 11/1, 1200 Wien (2nd floor)
🌏 Languages: English, German, Polish
Leftover veggies from a local bio-farmer from 22nd district of Vienna, we will prepare and conserve. Sweet-sour, tasty and long-lasting. During each workshop you will be able to learn about pickling and/or fermenting, preserve the vegetables that otherwise would end up in trash, experiment, chat and exchange.
So come over, bring your own jars, fill them with pickled veggies, take them back home to your community and get to know some people and preservation techniques. All the workshops are facilitated, free and invite people from all backgrounds to join in, regardless of prior knowledge on preservation or resources.
Max: 13 participants
