You are warmly invited to join us to explore trauma-informed community practices for witnessing, holding and transforming the pain of grief.
What To Expect
We will gently travel through each stage of the Grief Tending journey through small group work, circle sharing, and a simple, inclusive ceremony followed by feasting, soothing and integration.
The session will include an introduction to the broad spectrum of loss which includes collective grief (ecological, generational etc.) as well as personal losses such as bereavement and life transitions.
In community Grief Tending, we discover that we are no longer alone, and together we can hold our grief without being overwhelmed. All activities are invitational.
Who Is It For?
This workshop is for anyone struggling with grief or loss, and looking for more hope, healing and peace. Together we create a brave space where pain and loss can be witnessed, held and transformed.
You will have the opportunity to experience all the elements of the Grief Tending journey with enough time and spaciousness to honour your grief in a gentle yet deep way. It's a good next step if you've been to a Grief Tending in community introduction, or if you feel ready for a day devoted to exploring grief and loss creatively.
Bookings will close at 6pm on Thursday 12th November.
The Gifting Approach - Pay What You Can
All our events are offered on a gift basis, which means there’s no financial barrier to participation. This is a bit different to simply inviting donations. We’re asking you to feel into a contribution that feels right for you.
When you register, you'll need to pay a ‘placeholder deposit’ of £20, which is a token of commitment to reserve your place (if this is a problem for you please be in touch). We will be inviting a further financial gift after the workshop.
We have created a sliding scale to help you to decide on your total financial gift as well as further guidelines and reflections on the subject of Living in the Gift. Please read this through if you are new to the gifting approach and want to learn more about our ethos.
Suggested gifts for this event: £40 Supported; £70 Standard; £90 Abundant; £110 Abundant Plus.
It's OK if your gift is anywhere along this sliding scale or indeed less or more than we are suggesting - we trust you to make this decision. Your placeholder deposit is, in principle, refundable at the workshop, in full or in part, if your chosen gift is less.
Your gift will ensure that we can continue offering sessions to everyone who needs them, regardless of their financial circumstances.

If the booking form is not accessible for you, please get in touch and we will do our best to help.
Norfolk Grief Tending is a non-profit community organisation that helps adults who are struggling with grief to find hope, healing and peace.
