Grief Choir Abergavenny

Grief Choir is a  safe, supportive and uplifting space for people living with grief to sing together.

It offers breathing tools and vocal techniques for wellbeing, and gentle, simple songs to sing in harmony with others.

Perhaps you are grieving the loss, death or separation of a loved one. Or perhaps you are grieving a part of yourself.

Grief Choir offers a place of community for anyone navigating grief - of any kind.

Singing with others not only releases endorphins and helps us feel calm, it can also promote feelings of acceptance and connection, nurturing a sense of safety and community.

Grief Choir is led by singing facilitator Jannah Warlow, who has over 20 years experience leading community singing events, workshops and choirs.

Having experienced the healing benefits of singing on her own bereavement journey, she is deeply committed to Grief Choir providing a space of solace and connection through the power of communal singing.

Everything is taught by ear, there is no sheet music and no previous singing experience is required!

Join Grief Choir for  a one-off workshop and see how  it feels like to sing through your grief.

Abergavenny location will be communicated upon booking.

Grief Choir is still awaiting funding to enable these pop-up workshops to happen. To support Grief Choir to continue to reach as many people as possible, the recommended personal investment for this workshop is  £25. However, we do not wish money to be a barrier. If this amount is unaffordable, please be in touch and we can have a conversation about how to make it possible for you to attend and/or support in another way.
