Darren Le Baron in collaboration with the Psychedelic Society present…

THE LAST SUPPER CLUBA Feast of Inner Alchemy & Sacred Union

You are invited to the table.

Hosted at a private venue in Stoke Newington, Hackney, The Last Supper Club is a seasonal ritual-theatrical banquet and immersive cultural experience. Through food, story, sound, and ceremony, guests are guided along a mythic journey of communion, descent, death, and rebirth.

This is not a lecture. This is not ceremony-as-usual.

This is a living, breathing psychedelic cabaret—where ancient myth meets with modern nightlife, where entertainment becomes initiation, and where the shared table transforms into an altar of imagination, connection, and renewal.

What to Expect:

A multi-sensory evening where:

  • A reimagined Last Supper table becomes an altar of transformation
  • Mushroom-inspired gourmet small plates tell stories of decay, darkness, fruiting, and renewal
  • Elixirs, tonics, and botanical cocktails are served as symbolic sacraments
  • Music, comedy, and spoken word weave between reverence and irreverence
  • Storytellers, mystics, and performers conjure ancestral myth and contemporary insights
  • Guests wander through oracle stations, divination labs, and creative portals

The night will be hosted by Darren Le Baron and Natasja Pelgrom featuring special guest speakers including Verona Spence-Adofo, Israel Ajose, Danny Nemu, Rima Staines, entertainment and cuisine provided by Jay Golding aka The Naturalist Way.

At The Last Supper Club, Darren and Natasja serve as a mythic hosts, helping shape the evening’s arc of communion, descent, death, and rebirth. —inviting guests into an experience where transformation unfolds through food, creativity, humour, and shared ritual.

YOUR HOSTS

Darren Le Baron

Darren Le Baron is an ethnomycologist and psychedelic researcher whose work bridges ancient wisdom traditions, contemporary science, and creative cultural expression. He is internationally recognised for translating complex knowledge of fungi, psychedelics, and plant medicines into experiences that are engaging, accessible, and deeply transformative.

A dynamic and compelling speaker, Darren’s research explores ethnomycology, ancient African plant medicines, and the cultural history of psychedelics, examining how these traditions can inform healing, creativity, and collective wellbeing in the present day. His talks are distinguished by their ability to weave ancestral knowledge with modern insight, humour, and poetic storytelling—inviting audiences into both learning and lived experience

Natasja Pelgrom

Natasja Pelgrom is a visionary guide in personal transformation and entheogenic culture, whose work bridges sacred wisdom, embodied leadership, and contemporary consciousness practice. As a sacred medicine woman and founder of Awaken the Medicine Within retreats and the Eudaimonia Institute, she weaves ancient ritual technologies with modern methodologies to create experiences rooted in depth, ethics, and lived transformation.

Natasja has mentored practitioners and leaders across the psychedelic, wellness, and creative fields, and has held space in over 1,000 entheogenic ceremonies worldwide. Her work centres on right relationship—with self, community, and the unseen—and on restoring the sacred to how we gather, lead, and create. Drawing on two decades of entrepreneurial and cultural experience, she brings a rare blend of intuition, rigour, and play.

GUESTS:

Verona Spence-Adofo

Healer, educator and filmmaker, Verona Spence-Adofo is Co-Founder of Ancestral Voices, an initiative dedicated to documenting African spiritual philosophies and practices. Her work challenges misconceptions, provides historical accuracy and supports those seeking ancestral wisdom. Having worked with healers and wisdom keepers across the globe for the past 15 years, Verona brings deep insight into healing, ancestral communication and metaphysical knowledge. Through her work, she continues to inspire others to reconnect with their ancestral heritage, embrace their inner gifts and step confidently into their own spiritual journeys.

He has undertaken further studies in traditional astrology under the teaching of Robert Zoller, Robert Schmidt, Robert Hand, and Demetra George. He combines traditional, mediaeval, and psychological methods. He is currently a full-time practicing consultant & teacher of astrology, tarot for more than 18 years, alongside various philosophical and esoteric disciplines. He was the former President of the astrological lodge of London. Much of his studies and practices also include cosmology, mythology, occult sciences, Kabbalah, shamanism, and divination.

Danny Nemu

Danny is a hypnotist, independent researcher and writer on a mission to democratise technologies of mind-hacking and unleash the powers that lie dormant within us. He blends hypnotic trance induction with ritual to fuzz up the edges of reality and unleash the powers of a mind unfettered. With a background in the history and philosophy of medicine, he is the author of Science Revealed and Neuro-Apocalypse, as well as articles and academic papers on subjects ranging from the psychopharmacology of drug preparations in the Bible to collective intelligence in nature.

Rima Staines

Rima’s work explores the edge of culture and consciousness in media from painting and drawing to animation and puppetry, printmaking, music and writing. Steeped in melancholy, story-rich and alchemical, it straddles myth, magic and folk art, and feels simultaneously both strange and familiar. Her paintings have been exhibited widely in the UK, in France, the US and New Zealand, and in 2018 she was a finalist in the 'Best Artist' category of the World Fantasy Awards. She co-founded Hedgespoken, a travelling storytelling theatre and press, and her latest exhibition - Widdershins III - featuring a group of Dartmoor mythic artists, was featured on BBC Devon. She is currently illustrating a book of Bulgarian folk tales.

Cuisine provided by Jay Golding aka The Naturalist Way

The Naturalist Way is Jay Golding's personal journey from a classical, meat-based kitchen into more than a decade of alkaline cuisine—guiding people back to food in its most natural, least hybridised form. Jay curates alkaline-led menus and immersive experiences, including retreats, supper clubs, and private tables. Working in close relationship with nature, this approach remains true to a way of living that is both grounded and intentional, while still feeling creatively elevating day to day. Jay is deeply looking forward to co-creating a shared table, a shared vision, and a menu that genuinely honours the theme, the land, and the source.

Really amazing and helpful course with Darren. He’s a friendly and inspirational guy with a very deep knowledge of all aspects of fungus cultivation culture. If you want to get going on this hobby make him your first choice to learn all the skills and tips to save you time and money. 10/10. Gonna have a go myself now then most likely do his pro course in the coming months.

Ali H

Very informative and with added bonus of hands-on practical tips on how to go about growing mushrooms. Will recommended this workshop to my friends and family and look forward to attending advanced workshops. Had a great time too.
