The answer to so many of the difficulties we experiences during peri/menopause can be found in connection:
Connection to ourselves and the wisdom of our bodies and our emotions
Connection to others who are on the same journey
Connection to the natural world which can, with such simplicity and grace, show us the way through this natural time of transition
Whether you are deep in your peri/menopause process or coming out the other side, this retreat is an opportunity to put down your responsibilities, turn off the phone, and take a break from the to do list. Through a range of activities, in the whole group, small groups and on your own, we will help you to connect deeply with yourself and listen to what you need, and to access the deep wisdom and support that is within you and all around you. Space to listen to your body and rest deeply, a safe container to process all the emotions that feel too big for everyday life, an opportunity to release, rest and replenish, to come back to yourself, and to harness the potential of menopause as a time of initiation into our power.
We will be supported by the nature and land of Dartmoor, and by working with Nettle and other plant allies.
This retreat is for you if:
You are in peri/menopause and are feeling the need for some holding and support. Perhaps you're exhausted and finding that you just want to tell everyone to f*** off! Or perhaps you’ve come through menopause but something feels incomplete, you’re not quite 'done' yet, or rather menopause isn't quite done with you!
This retreat is open to you whatever age you are as you travel through menopause; whether you are going through natural menopause or have experienced / are experiencing medically induced menopause. You are welcome whether or not you have a womb. You are welcome if you are on HRT, or not, or if you are undecided on the matter. You are welcomed on this retreat whatever your gender identity, sexuality, race, ethnicity and background.
