Come and make something strange, wild and wonderful for Samhain.

Join us at Lowlife for a fun, hands-on evening of mask making, banner making, folklore and autumnal creativity as we prepare for the Samhain Procession through Margate on Saturday 31st October at 8pm.

Samhain is a time of thresholds, transformation and things getting a little bit weird!  So… we're inviting families, friends, witches, makers, curious creatures and anyone who fancies getting crafty to come and create their own Samhain mask or procession banner.

Expect an evening of making, experimenting and getting gloriously messy as we transform simple materials into masks, symbols and decorations worthy of a Halloween procession.

All craft materials are included in your ticket, but you're very welcome to bring along your own twigs, leaves, feathers, dried flowers, bark or other autumnal treasures to incorporate into your creations.

No previous crafting experience is needed. Come with an idea, come with your children, come with your friends  or simply turn up and see what emerges.

And then, a week later, bring your creations back to Margate and take part in the Samhain Procession on Saturday 31st October at 8pm.

This is a family-friendly gathering of folklore, craft, community and Samhain magic.

All ages welcome. Children must be supervised by a responsible guardian throughout.
