Formula presents: House Is A Feeling feat. Milly on Air, Jason Singh & more

“Not everybody understands house music.
It’s a spiritual thing.
A body thing.
A soul thing.”

On Saturday 18th July, we return to the terrace at Maltings Taphouse for a day-to-night open-air celebration of house music.

Expect soulful, groove-led sounds spanning house, disco & electronica, and deeper, punchier late-evening energy, with influence from Chicago, Manchester, New York and beyond. Soundtracked by Formula residents, carefully selected local DJs and two very special guests: Milly on Air & Jason Singh.

Milly has become one of Bristol's most respected underground talents, equally at home hosting her Rinse FM residency as she is playing some of the world's most celebrated dancefloors, with standout sets at Love International, Glastonbury’s Block9 and Pikes Ibiza.

And Jason joins us for a rare vinyl-only house set. Shaped by over three decades of musical discovery, his journey has included collaborations with Graham Massey (808 State), appearances at WOMAD and international recognition.

Set within one of South Devon's standout grassroots venues just 5 minutes' walk from Newton Abbot station, we're bringing in a KV2 Audio sound system, a purpose-built dancefloor and all-weather cover if needed. The venue also serves up some of the best wood-fired pizza around.

As always, we encourage mindful consumption and aim to create a welcoming, inclusive space where everyone feels able to be themselves and dance freely. What the music is all about.

Limited capacity - tickets on sale now.
