A BEASTLY PRINT WORKSHOP
A Printmaking Workshop Presented By PRINT SOCIAL
A Dead Good Festival Event
Saturday 31st October
Time: 10am–12:00pm
Venue: Lowlife, 139 Northdown Road, Margate CT9 2QY
️ Suggested donation £2 per participant
PRINT SOCIAL present ‘A Beastly Print Workshop’, a fun printmaking workshop for all ages.
In this hands-on workshop, PRINT SOCIAL will introduce you to the wonderfully tactile world of printmaking. Using pre-carved lino stamps, you'll be guided through the process of creating your own unique printed artwork to celebrate Samhain. Expect to get stuck in, play with ideas, make some lovely mess and discover the magic of seeing an image come to life through print.
All materials supplied - lino stamps, inks, rollers, paper, colouring pens, aprons, etc. All skill levels catered to. Messy clothes or aprons recommended.
The workshop is free, but we recommend a donation of £2 per participant to cover the cost of PRINT SOCIAL'S materials (cash or card on arrival). Children must be supervised by a parent or responsible adult throughout the workshop.
Come learn. Come create. Come print!
You can read our ticket terms and conditions here.
ABOUT YOUR GUIDES
PRINT SOCIAL
PRINT SOCIAL is a collective of like-minded linocut print obsessives, established in 2022. They meet once a month at Resort Studios in Margate to carve, print and chat about all things linocut. They run occasional exhibitions and non-profit workshops in and around Thanet.
