Ostara Balance Ritual

The Wheel of The Year holds the wisdom of our cyclical nature, with each season and Holytide festival embodying and array of symbolism, tradition and teachings.

Their energies also hold natural magic that we can work with and engaging with the Sabbats, like our ancestors did, can be a pathway for learning and growth.

I have come to work with the Wheel of The Year through my devotional relationship with the Goddess and I am coming to learn more and more just how profound this work is with every turn of the Wheel.

Ostara is the balance point of equal day and night, where dark meets light in perfect balance.

The Full Moon also appears a lot in the traditional Lore around Ostara, with even the church celebrating Easter on The Sunday following the Full Moon after the Spring Equinox.

The union of The Sun God and The Moon Goddess, masculine and feminine speaks to the fertility of gender that births all creation.

This time is about the balanced and harmonious relationship between polarities, masculine and feminine, light and dark.

We contain all of these and a deficiency in any can impact our relationships and creative potency.

In this Ostara Balance Ritual I’m going to be guiding us through our inner Dark Feminine, Light Feminine, Dark Masculine and Light Masculine energies.

You will be guided to come into relationship with each of these parts, first through the body and movement, and then though an inner journey to connect with each of their energies and to gain insight.

This will help you see where you can nurture greater balance within yourself and yours life.

We will then enter into a creative process so that we can enshrine the energy of balance into a ritually created item.

This event is an inclusive and compassionate space where your vulnerabilities are welcomed.

Much love, Rose
