EVENT FLOW

Arrival

Doors open at 12.30pm.

Arrive early to ground yourself in the space.

Doors close just before 1pm to ensure a prompt start.

Samatha (Candle Gazing)

Samatha is a Buddhist form of meditation which uses an object to help train and prepare us for Vipassana; pure awareness. In this instance we will be gazing at a candle flame placed in the centre of the room as we breathe.

Walking Meditation

We continue the practice of observation and discover a coherence between our breathing pattern and foot rhythm.

Vipassana (Dark Room Meditation)

Once we have settled the candle will be blown out. By being immersed in the darkness we are forced to face our own worst enemy, the mind, as we have no external stimulus to distract us. The real test here is to be able to maintain the state of presence; bringing our awareness to the breath is the key.

Breathwork

Next you will be invited to get comfortable and lie down as you are guided on a journey with your breath through sound. Bad Boy Breathwork is the result of a personal revolution. Once confined by the walls of a prison, Delroy found his true freedom through the power of breath—transforming darkness into light and limits into liberation. This raw, unapologetic approach to wellness stems from a life of challenges, resilience, and redemption. Designed for those ready to defy the ordinary, Bad Boy Breathwork helps one harness the strength within, break through barriers, and embrace your untamed potential. It’s not just a practice—it’s a testament to the fact that even in confinement, freedom is just one breath away.

Gong Bath

After the Breathwork you will be bathed in the powerful healing sounds of the gong; lie back and enjoy the organic acoustics of this ancient instrument.

Relax deeply in the receptive, yin phase of our ceremony. As your brainwaves entrain to the resonant sonics, you gain access to your subconscious mind and any messages it may reveal to you, including the source of personal blocks, or pathways forward.

Integration (Shavasana)

Shavasana (also known as corpse pose) is the final pose used in yoga to encourage relaxation and practice the art of stillness. This will create a stronger somatic connection between the mind and the body.

Journaling/Sharing (Optional)

Once the event has concluded we recommend that you leave the event in silence to help further integrate your process. Of course this is not compulsory and you are more than welcome to stay behind, journal and share your experience in the closing circle.
