π As the Winter Solstice looms on the 21st of December, marking the longest night, we invite you to gather and celebrate the deepened wisdom found in the dark and the potent energy of renewal .π
This ceremony invites you to explore the power of your voice, sound, and intuitive movement as we come to enter the dark half of the year. Through the resonance of our voices, we will call forth and echo our deepest desires, intentions, and dreams for the months ahead.
π Together, we will:
- Remember forgotten traditions to honour the solstice by gathering in a circle and connecting with the seasons and ourselves.
- Engage in voice work to release what no longer serves us, making space for new desires as we use our collective voices as channels of creative energy.
- Use intuitive movement to embody the flow of the natural world, letting go of control and allowing our bodies to move freely.
- Immerse ourselves in soundscapes created by instruments, chants, and breath, reflecting the stillness of winter and the stirrings of new beginnings.
As the night deepens, we will weave together our intentions for the coming months, sending our voices and movements into The Darkness of the Boiling Wells Tunnel as a collective prayer, planting seeds for the lighter days ahead.
No prior experience in voice or movement work is necessaryβonly a willingness to explore, express, and honour the beauty of the solstice. This is a mixed-gender event

ABOUT YOUR FACILITATORS
Alice Elizabeth - https://www.alice-elizabeth.com/aboutalice
With a background of dance, circus arts, voice and performance, my curiosity continues to deepen at how we express and release ourselves, by drawing from a physical, emotional and spiritual sense.
Having travelled globally with over 500 hours of yoga training and a holistic massage qualification. With additional somatic, embodiment movement training - all with some of the most prestigious worldly teachers - I have established great insight into the capability of the body and voice. Leaving me forever a student of this work.
Camilla Eustacia Mason - https://www.echotherapies.com/about-me
I am a qualified Sound and Movement (Dip. SAMT) therapist from The British Academy of Sound Therapy, with a professional background in the performing arts and events industry. I started my career as an immersive performer, building on strengths in theatre, cabaret, immersive performance, clowning, and drag. However, holistic arts have always been my main driving force and personal journey of channelling healing through creativity.
I am currently training in Cognitive-Behavioural Hypnotherapy (Dip.CBH) while working as a Creative Support Worker with young children & adults at The West of England Music and Arts School, supporting the facilitation of Music Therapy workshops.
