EQUINOX AFTERGLOW - come and bask in the afterglow of summer with a one-day creativity and wellness retreat celebrating nature, the turning of the seasons and our delicious bodies. Like the seasons, we’ll move through different energies- we start with spring, as you’re held and energised with a strong(ish) slow flow yoga led by Polly, which is always adaptable, and rest is encouraged, followed by an opening circle around the fire to meet the other humans in the space and ground. You’ll be led through meditation followed by a short journalling and creative writing practice. Then we move into the heat of summer, we’ll sit around the fire and have a simple meal and snacks (provided). We are so lucky to have the sunshine human herself Cyd from Rooted Beings with us, leading a painting with natural pigments session, which feels like a ritual. Autumn comes around and we sink into yin and yoga nidra, followed by a comforting winter cosy sound bath in nature, and a closing circle. Meet like minded folks in a truly sacred mini oasis in the city. There will be plenty of time for reflection, and moments of pause and recalibration.

I’m so looking forward to another Autumn Equinox Retreat- it is a special time to come together to celebrate the harvest of the summer, bask in the afterglow, compost anything we don’t need, and clear our inner gardens in order to turn inwards, like the plants do, for the winter. We will drink in the last sips of energy of the summer, and prepare for some nourishment and rest. My intention for this retreat is that we reset ourselves as much as possible, we rest, we create, and we get a bit of clarity on how we can support our minds, bodies and creative souls over the winter.
