Sophia Kai 'Journal Of The Soul': An Evening of Live Music & Poetry

Join us for an intimate evening with Sophia Kai, author of Journal of the Soul, as she brings her acclaimed collection to life through music, poetry and storytelling. Sophia explores grief and grace, love and longing, and the journey of returning to what endures.

More than a performance, this is an invitation to slow down, reflect, and reconnect with yourself through words that speak to the heart and music that lingers long after the final note. Her performances have been described as living rituals that gently invite audiences into stillness, remembrance and deeper connection.

Sophia will be supported by Soul Revolution’s very own Imani Chimo-Daniel, who will also share some spoken word and poetry. If you’ve ever heard her at the festival, you’ll know how profound her gift is. We are excited to co-create this evening with Sophia.

Whether you're already familiar with Journal of the Soul or discovering Sophia's work for the first time, this promises to be a deeply moving evening in the centre of Birmingham, at the warm and intimate setting of OMNOM Birmingham.

OMNOM has a restaurant upstairs, and we welcome people to eat there before they join us at the gig. Doors open at 7pm.
