Before the Rush

Brought to you by Dragonfly Studios, Soul Circles are small monthly gatherings for women and non-binary people to put down the many hats we wear, come home to ourselves, share stories and be seen and heard, just as we are.

This month's theme
On Friday 13th November, Mercury turns direct after its retrograde in Scorpio, and Venus follows the next day. After weeks of astrology asking us to look back, things are starting to move forward again. We'll gather in the last week of Scorpio season, just before the Sun moves into Sagittarius on Sunday 22nd November, under a waxing crescent moon that's building towards first quarter.

It's also the moment the busiest time of year begins. Work deadlines, Christmas plans, presents, hosting and all the little jobs that keep everything running for everyone else... So this circle is a pause before the rush.

We'll reflect on:

As the busiest time of year begins, how can you care for yourself through it, and what might you need to say no to, so you can say yes to what matters?

What happens on the evening

Opening the circle and our simple agreements
Discussions around the monthly theme
A quiet moment for reflection
A chance to share (always optional)
Group reiki - hands-on or hands-off is chosen by each participant
A collective tarot reading
Circle close and a moment for gratitude

It doesn’t matter if you’ve never sat in a circle before or you’ve been to loads. You can come as you are, and there’s no pressure to share if you’d rather just listen. Of course, what is shared stays in the room.

Please bring:
Comfy clothes, a yoga mat, cushions, a blanket, and a notepad and pen. If you'd like, you can bring something meaningful to place on our centrepiece for the evening, though there's no need to.

Soul Circles are for women and non-binary people aged 18 and over.

Refunds: full refund if you cancel at least 7 days before the circle. After that, you're welcome to pass your place to a friend; please let me know their name.

If I ever need to cancel or move a circle, you'll be offered a full refund or a place at the next one.

Soul Circles are a supportive space, not therapy, counselling or medical care. Please take care of yourself during the evening, and step out or rest whenever you need to.

What's shared in the circle stays in the circle. Please don't take photos or recordings during the sharing, but otherwise, photos of the space are more than welcome.

Reiki is offered either hands-on or hands-off, it's your choice, and you can change your mind at any time.
