Ecstatic Dance Northants • Light & Fire

Summer Solstice Gathering

Saturday 20 June · from 4:00 PM

📍 The Wild Meadows, Northamptonshire

Light & Fire is a gathering to mark the turning of the season.

A space to come together in nature, in movement, in rhythm and connection, as we step into the longest day of the year.

We begin in the afternoon, arriving onto the land, opening the space together, and settling into presence.

What to expect

• Opening cacao to begin the gathering
• Ecstatic Dance journeys with multiple DJs
• Facilitated spaces and guided elements
• Fire as the evening unfolds
• Music, movement and connection
• A gentle closing with live, natural music

This is not just a dance.

It is a shared experience moving from day into night, from energy into softness, from rhythm into stillness.

The Flow

We open with cacao and arrival.
We build into movement, rhythm and dance.
As the sun lowers, we gather around the fire.

We close with live, natural music — grounding, simple, and human.

The Space

We will be held by the land at The Wild Meadows, open, alive and spacious.

There is an option to stay overnight on the land.
If you would like to stay, please let us know in advance.

Cacao

We will begin the gathering with ceremonial cacao, shared together as a way to open the space and arrive as a group.

Cacao is a gentle, heart-opening plant that can support connection, presence and emotional awareness.

Please note:
Cacao may not be suitable if you are pregnant, have serious heart conditions, or are taking certain medications (including antidepressants). If you are unsure, please consult your doctor or reach out before the event.

Participation is optional. You are always welcome to join the space without drinking cacao.
