Tango Begins with a hug -the Abrazo

With Becalelis Brodskis + Guest Teachers

No dance skills needed, just a willingness to begin

12 November – 3 December 2026 | LA Studios, Truro

Four Thursdays, 7:30–9:30 pm

£55 (concession: £40/month) for the course, includes lessons and guided practice

A four-week introduction to the walking embrace of Argentine Tango, aimed at total beginners as well as recent beginners wishing to revisit the foundations.

Explore connection, musicality, improvisation, posture, walking and the shared experience of the embrace within Tango as an improvised social dance from Buenos Aires.

No partner needed • All genders welcome • Non-gendered dance roles

We encourage everyone to explore both leading and following roles, regardless of gender, believing this helps us become more complete dancers.

Pay It Forward: Support others with less.

Two concession places are available initially across both subscriptions. We only just cover costs so ask those who can affford to contribute a little extra to make a voluntary contribution to help subsidise additional concession places.
