Yoga Fundraiser for Palestine (The Sameer Project)

At the time of writing, a ceasefire has been announced, but peace is still a long way off for Palestinians living in Gaza.
Homes, hospitals, schools and businesses have been destroyed and rebuilding will take years while people live in make shift structures. Medicine is urgently needed and food is still selling at vastly inflated prices with aid still being heavily restricted.

The devastation is profound. Those killed are mourned.

It can be hard to know how to help. By coming together in community, we remind each other of the importance in supporting those who are being oppressed and still fighting for their freedom.

About the event

Come together in community to move, breathe, connect and reflect.. Our amazing Elevate teachers will guide you through a beautiful afternoon as we raise money for The Sameer Project, supplying aid to Palestine.

Starting with connecting partner work guided by Carrie, Wen will then guide us through a beautiful yoga flow before we come to lie and rest in calming yin with Safia. Finishing with poetry and writing with Sophia.

This event is to raise funds for The Sameer Project: a grassroots, donations based initiative, led by Palestinians in the diaspora, working to supply aid to displaced families in Gaza.

Additional info

The studio has yoga mats and props but you are welcome to bring your own. You do not need to bring anything except a bottle of water.
Wear comfortable clothes that you can move in. 
The studio is air conditioned.

Hands on massage and partner yoga poses will be offered at this event. If on the day you would rather not have any hands on touch, please let us know and we can accommodate your needs.

Pay what you can: £35, £45 or £55. 

There are a few tickets available for a minimum of £10.
