How's your dear heart? And what is it trying to tell you? Working with the energies of rose and gorse we'll connect to our life force energy and collage medicine boards for our hearts and souls (like a vision board but different).
This soothing and restorative workshop is all about listening in deeply to what the heart-mind wants to tell us using an imaginative mix of somatic creativity, journal prompts, small moments of easy guided meditation, connection to landscape, ritual, and time to share and be witnessed.
This is a part of a series of 4 workshops this autumn. Come to one or come to them all!
Please note that in this workshop we are collaging not stitching. The other 3 are stitching workshops.
Timings: 10am-3pm
Venue: At a beautiful Georgian townhouse, in central Exeter Devon Just a few minutes walk from the high street. Exact location and directions given on booking.
Please note that unfortunately there is no parking available. Nearby car parks (1 min walk away) are small Bystock Carpark and Richmond Rd car park. There is also a car park behind central station which has more spaces (4 min walk away). It would be best to find parking for the whole time as parking in a two hour spot will disrupt the container of the workshop. There is also Exeter Park and Ride with bus to city centre if you are coming from further afield.
Tea/coffee and biscuits provided. Each session will run with a short break for lunch (please bring your own).
All collaging materials provided.
Please note that currently we are unable to accommodate accessibility needs as the toilets are upstairs but we are working to address this in the near future.
Other upcoming dates are:
Stitching Wisdom- Heart Pouch Bags (Solstice Session) Sat Dec 19th (This is a witchy, somatic stitching workshop)
