MEN’S CIRCLE
Belonging As You Are

Cultural and social influences play a significant role in men's isolation in the UK, as many men are socialized to prioritize self-sufficiency and achievement over building relationships. This leads to difficulties in initiating social contact, often leaving them feeling vulnerable and disconnected.

As men we may know how to fit in.
Fewer of us know what it feels like to truly belong.

We become successful, capable, funny, agreeable, independent, easygoing, strong.

And over time, we begin to isolate. Not always physically, but emotionally, relationally, and internally.

We withdraw.
We keep things surface-level.
We convince ourselves we shouldn’t need anyone.
At the same time, many of us quietly crave deeper connection, and don’t know where to find it, or how to create it.

Because somewhere along the way, we stopped asking:
“Where do I actually belong?”
And:
“Can I belong without performing?”

The cost?
• Feeling alone even in relationships or friendships
• Hiding parts of yourself to stay accepted
• Struggling to ask for support or be fully honest
• Feeling seen for what you do—but not for who you are
• Withdrawing from connection while still longing for it
• Carrying the sense that belonging must be earned

Real belonging asks something different.

The willingness to arrive honestly.

This circle is a space to explore what belonging actually means.

We’ll explore:
• The difference between fitting in and truly belonging
• Why vulnerability can feel risky, even when we long to be seen
• What it means to belong without having to prove yourself
• How honesty creates connection
• What helps men feel safe enough to open up
• How to build connection through consistency, presence, and truth
• The importance of finding spaces where you don’t have to shrink, impress, or pretend

This isn’t about becoming more social, confident, or impressive.

It’s about discovering where you can fully exhale.

We'll explore the topic through meditation, embodiment, sharing and reflection.

Come as you are.
No performing. No fixing. Just men, practicing truth, connection, and presence.
