- Step into a more authentic and empowered version of yourself
About your Facilitators:

Beth Friedeberg has been working with groups for over a decade, in contexts ranging from intentional communities, to corporate offices, to prisons. These days much of her work is 1:1, as a Core Process Psychotherapist, both online and in Devon. Alongside this she offers training and consultation to organisations across the UK, on themes such as polyvagal theory, trauma-informed ways of working, and creating healthier cultures in the workplace.
She is feeling deeply inspired by a year-long training in transformational group-work facilitation that she recently participated in - and then assisted on - in Berlin, which draws on somatic psychotherapy and shamanic wisdom.
Beth has been meditating for 10 years, and is deeply fascinated by the interrelationships between embodiment, healing, spiritual awakening, the nervous system, and creative expression and play. Everything that she offers has its roots in her own deep (and ongoing) journey of healing and transformation.
Beth feels passionate about supporting individuals and groups to ‘unfold’; to deepen their capacity to meet themselves, others and the world with curiosity, compassion, and clarity, and ultimately to experience life with greater ease, joy and richness. As she sees it, creating a ‘safe enough’ container is absolutely fundamental to this kind of work.

Beth Bauer has always been drawn to the depths of human experience—how we heal, how we transform, and how we reconnect with ourselves in meaningful ways. Her journey has taken Beth through different creative and therapeutic pathways, weaving together a deep appreciation for the impermanence of life, the wisdom of the body, and the power of breath.
Beth’s background as an artist has shaped the way she sees the world, finding beauty in transience and embracing the ebb and flow of transformation. Beth has worked with ink and texture to create visual landscapes that evoke the ever-changing nature of existence. Beth’s artwork is deeply influenced by the concept of wabi-sabi—the Japanese philosophy of appreciating imperfection and impermanence. This theme runs through everything she does, from painting to therapeutic work, as she believes true healing comes not from erasing the past, but from integrating it with compassion.
Alongside Beth’s artistic practice, she is in her final stages of Mindfulness-Based Core Process Psychotherapy (MBCCP) training, a modality that blends mindfulness and Buddhist philosophy with Western psychotherapy. This approach allows Beth to support her clients in becoming more present with themselves, exploring unconscious patterns, and deepening their connection to self-awareness and healing. Beth also integrates Somatic Experiencing (SE) into her work, a body-focused trauma resolution approach that helps release stored stress and brings the nervous system back into balance.
Beth is currently training in Breathwork with Alchemy of Breath, and will soon be offering this as part of her private practice. Breathwork is a profound tool for transformation, allowing us to access deeper layers of the subconscious, move through emotional blockages, and return to a natural state of flow. Combining breathwork with psychotherapy and somatic healing is a deeply holistic way to work—one that invites the mind, body, and spirit into the process of change. Through breath, mindfulness, and somatic awareness, we can move through the layers of resistance, fear, and old stories, making space for new possibilities to emerge.
Together, we can breathe into the unknown, embrace our shadows, and rediscover the power and wisdom that has always been within us.
