Dan Simpson is a writer, facilitator, and creativity coach with 15 years experience across the creative industries, education, science, heritage, charities, and businesses. He is passionate about the power of language to inspire and empower creativity and communication - and bring people into more meaningful connection.

​As a poet and spoken word artist, Dan creates contemporary work that is engaging, thoughtful, and responsive. His work explores science and culture, history and place, personal experience, and the intersections of people and poetry. He has performed globally: from Glastonbury Festival to Chicago’s Uptown Poetry Slam, Sofar Sounds Auckland, on the BBC - and has  taken multiple shows to the Edinburgh Fringe.

​Dan designs and delivers imaginative, reflective workshops that encourage people to express themselves with creativity and confidence. Dan is also an experienced educator, working across all ages from primary to post-graduate. With a background in counselling skills, Authentic Relating, and Wheel of Consent, Dan brings a deep, person-centred approach to his work.
