I'm a Medicine Woman, Art Healer, Bodywork Therapist and I'm training to be a somatic trauma-informed therapist with Dr Gabor Mate. I work with ancient shamanic medicines holding space for groups as well as 1:1 therapy and bodywork sessions. At the core of my work is re-connection with nature and with our bodies to unlock creative expression as a vehicle for awareness, presence, healing and transformation.
For over 30 years, theatre and performance have been the language of my life. I have collaborated on countless plays, devised works, and movement-led performances exploring the stage not only as a site of expression, but as a place of deep listening, ritual, and remembering.
In 2013 my path took a turning when I met my teacher and shaman, XamAM Alba Maria from Terra Mirim community in Brazil. The lineage of the Mother Goddess awakened something ancient and wild in me. Since then, my healing practice and creative life have become one woven thread. I have been initiated in the shamanic path of the Sweat Lodge (Cabana), Wachuma (San Pedro), Sacred Tobacco and Rapé, these rites continue to shape how I hold space — with reverence, humility, attaunement, compassion and devotion.
One of the living questions I walk with is how art becomes medicine. This inquiry has led me to an ongoing investigation that I call Medicine Theatre — a space where performance meets ritual, where movement becomes prayer, and where healing can happen through the expressive body and voice.
I hold a BA in Acting, an MA in Performance Making and years of shamanic initiation journeys in Brazil and Peru, and now bring together decades of embodied artistry with the sacred technologies of shamanic practice and somatic healing.
