Hi, I’m Cecilia.  Based in Frome, Somerset since 2019, I teach regular in person and online yoga classes, workshops and teacher trainings.  My approach focuses on inclusivity, accessibility, and a non-hierarchical teaching style that honours individual inner wisdom and cyclical rhythms.  Through my work I aim to support personal growth and community well-being through the transformative power of yoga and women’s circles.

 Since my discovery of yoga in 1998, it has become a profound and transformative force in my life. I qualified with Yoga Campus, London in April 2013 and have completed over 500 hours of training in total.   In addition to my teaching diploma, I have honed my expertise through specialised training, including Yoga Therapy, Total Yoga Nidra, Well Women Yoga Therapy, Pregnancy Yoga, Yoga for Menopause, Restorative Yoga, Teen Yoga, and Yin Yoga.  As well as teaching regular classes,  I enjoy working as a mentor for teachers training to deliver Yoga Nidra and Well Woman Yoga Therapy.

​I was honoured to manage the Yoni Shakti:  The Movement Crowdfunding Campaign in April 2020 to Eradicate the Abuse of Women in Yoga and Reclaim Yoga as a Tool for Planetary Healing, where we raised over £35k and I continue to fully support this campaign.

​As an Environmenstrual Ambassador for the Women's Environmental Network, I am passionate about raising awareness regarding hidden plastic and chemicals in menstrual products, advocating for reusable and organic alternatives through free workshops.  I am honoured to work with Frome Town Council and Frome Medical Practice on their Plastic Free. Period campaign, where I deliver workshops to menstruators aged 11-18 in local schools.

I am also a Women’s Circle Facilitator and have been holding circles in person and online since 2017.  For a few years I took my Traveling Red Tent to festivals and camps and I am excited now to be a co-founder of the Frome Women’s Circle Collaborative, a council funded initiative to offer women’s circles in Frome.
