The December Variety Showcase: Immersive Theatre & Festive Treats

Join us at St Mary’s Church on Totnes High Street for a vibrant winter evening of live interactive performance and festive revelry!

Presented by Take Up Space Theatre, this special December showcase is the culmination of an intensive 8-week acting course led by local theatre facilitators Ellie and Jade. Over eight weeks of deep exploration, our cast of performers has immersed themselves in the powerful techniques of Sanford Meisner and Aileen Gonsalves—learning to drop self-consciousness, trust their instincts, tune in deeply to one another, and fearlessly take up space!

Now, they are stepping out of the rehearsal room to showcase their work in an exciting evening of short, immersive scenes. This is live performance where you are part of the experience- so don't get too cozy!

What to Expect

Live Performances: An engaging showcase of scene work grounded in seeing clearly, taking risks, and responding truthfully in the present moment.
