The Breath flows through everything we do. We can listen, with it as a guide and craft it as a resource.. In this interactive course, we’ll cover the science and art of Breathwork, explore different foundational practices and learn how to integrate the Breath into your daily life.
By growing our relationship with the breath, we can increase awareness of our embodied, emotional and relational states. Learning to listen with the Breath receptively and craft it actively. And over time, grow our windows of tolerance, increase resilience to stress and deepen our capacity for sense-full presence. Inviting us to connect deeper to our with self and in our relationships to those around us.
We’ll be learning through co-creating a supportive and curious atmosphere together, exploring various concepts, theories and frameworks, then grounding these into direct, felt sense experience.
What you’ll gain from this course:
- Learning about the science of the Breath and how it affects body and mind
- Guided Breathwork practices within each session, including Conscious Connected Breathwork
- Deepening your awareness of the Breath and the ability to track it through different emotional and mental states
- Gaining tools on how to regulate your nervous system using the breath, moving between alertness, focus and relaxation with various frameworks and techniques.
- Exploring the art of using the breath relationally, both intra, and inter personally.
- Resource sheets to support integrating a daily practice.
- Learning from the insights and reflections of others and connecting with a like-minded online community.
Together, we’ll learn to befriend the Breath and actively use it as a technology.
Monday evenings 7-9pm UK time.
The format will consist of a two hour live session, including:
- 1 hour Experiential group learning
- 30min Guided Conscious Connected Breathing
